The Human Version
Kluegr. helps you remember things by making your photos and documents searchable with AI. Use it for good, don't abuse it, and we'll keep making it better. That's the deal.
The legal stuff below is necessary, but the spirit is simple: be a good human, and we'll be a good app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Kluegr., you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. These terms are governed by Danish law.
2. What Kluegr. Is
Kluegr. is an AI-powered visual memory app that helps you:
- Capture and store photos, screenshots, and documents
- Automatically recognize and tag content using AI
- Search your visual library with natural language
- Scan and import documents (PDFs, Word, receipts, etc.)
- Extract receipt data (merchant, total, items)
- Save content from social media via the Share Sheet
- Set smart reminders based on content
Kluegr. is designed as a personal utility tool, not a social platform.
3. Age Requirement
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kluegr. If you're under 18, you should have parental permission. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
4. Acceptable Use
Please use Kluegr. responsibly. You agree not to:
- Use the AI processing service to analyze illegal or harmful content
- Attempt to bypass usage limits through automation or abuse
- Reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the app without permission
- Use Kluegr.'s backend services for purposes other than the app's intended functionality
- Overload the service with excessive or automated requests
5. AI Data Processing & Consent
Kluegr. uses third-party AI services to analyse your content. Before any data is sent, the app asks for your explicit consent. Here's exactly what happens:
What data is sent
- A compressed copy of your photo or document (resized, not the original)
- Metadata such as the source platform, caption, and author (if shared from social media)
Who processes it
- Our server (api.screamingdonkeystudio.com) — receives the image, forwards it to Google's APIs, returns the results, and discards the image. We do not store your images.
- Google Cloud Vision API — extracts text, detects brands/logos, identifies colours and landmarks. Images are processed in memory and not persisted to disk.
- Google Gemini (Paid API) — provides semantic understanding, descriptions, tags, and receipt extraction. Your data is not used for model training.
What is NOT done with your data
- Your images are never stored on our servers or Google's servers
- Your images are never used to train any AI model
- Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling
- Google does not share your content with any third party
AI-Generated Content Accuracy
- AI-generated tags, descriptions, and receipt data may not always be accurate
- Document classification and receipt extraction are best-effort
- You should verify important information (e.g., receipt totals) independently
- AI results improve over time but are not guaranteed to be error-free
Your content remains yours. We don't claim any rights to your images, documents, or data.
6. Kluegr. Premium Subscription
Kluegr. offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. Kluegr. Premium is available as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- The subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies
7. Third-Party Services
Kluegr. integrates with:
- Google Cloud Vision — For text extraction, brand detection, and image analysis
- Google Gemini — For semantic understanding, descriptions, and receipt data extraction
- Apple App Store — For distribution and in-app purchases
- Apple iCloud — For syncing your library (Pro users)
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Intellectual Property
Kluegr., including its design, code, and content, is owned by Screaming Donkey Studio. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Kluegr. without permission. The name "Kluegr." and our logos are trademarks of Screaming Donkey Studio.
9. Disclaimer
Kluegr. is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the app working well, but we can't guarantee:
- The app will always be available or error-free
- AI analysis will always be accurate or complete
- Receipt data extraction will be 100% correct
- The app will meet your specific needs
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Screaming Donkey Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kluegr., including any reliance on AI-generated data such as receipt totals or document classification. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Kluegr. Premium in the past 12 months.
11. Termination
You can stop using Kluegr. anytime by deleting the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, particularly if you abuse the service or use it for harmful purposes. We'll try to give notice when possible.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms as Kluegr. evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark. This doesn't affect your rights under local consumer protection laws.
